Glendale Police Arrest Three Suspects in Organized Retail Theft Operation
Glendale police have apprehended three individuals accused of participating in an organized retail theft ring that allegedly targeted multiple stores across Los Angeles County.
Suspects Identified in Theft Cases
Detectives have linked Cheyla Ramirez, 49, Ruben Lepiz Campos, 19, and Rogelio Soriano, 27, all residents of Los Angeles, to at least 10 retail thefts, including five in Glendale and five others throughout the county between January and February 2025, according to authorities.
Retail Stores Targeted
Investigators allege that the trio coordinated efforts to steal large amounts of merchandise from Nordstrom Rack, TJ Maxx, and Marshalls stores before reselling the stolen goods.

Arrests and Evidence Recovered
The investigation took a significant turn on March 3, when Glendale detectives were alerted that Ramirez’s vehicle had entered the city. The vehicle was later spotted outside a TJ Maxx, where police and store security allegedly witnessed Ramirez and Campos shoplifting.
Officers moved in and arrested them, recovering nearly $2,000 worth of stolen merchandise. A subsequent search of Ramirez’s vehicle led to the discovery of additional suspected stolen goods, burglary tools, and a notebook containing records of resale transactions.
On March 11, detectives executed search warrants at two Los Angeles residences, resulting in Soriano’s arrest and the recovery of approximately $6,700 in additional stolen merchandise.
Ongoing Investigation and Charges
Ramirez, Campos, and Soriano now face multiple charges related to organized retail theft, authorities confirmed. Glendale Police continue their investigation and are collaborating with the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office to pursue prosecution.
